This year, the people hosting Thanksgiving Day know how overwhelming the planning and cooking process could be and how expensive it is. Fortunately, for Thanksgiving, we’re giving out free turkeys!
Thanksgiving Day is an annual holiday celebrated in the United States and Canada to thank the blessings received in the past years. It’s one of the busiest holiday celebrations, wherein family and friends gather together every 25th of November. To complete the celebration, free turkeys should be on the list.

The traditions of Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day is an annual celebration that can be traced back to the dawn of civilizations. The American tradition of Thanksgiving can be previewed back to 1621, when the pilgrims gave thanks to their first harvest in Plymouth Rock.
The settlers arrived in 1620, founding their first permanent English settlement in New Zealand. The first Thanksgiving Day was celebrated for three consecutive days, with settlers feasting on turkey, dried fruits, and boiled pumpkins.
It wasn't until 1863 that President Abraham Lincoln established the final Thursday of November. Fast forward to 1989 when the first official pardon of a turkey, a tradition that continues until today.
In Canada, they celebrated Thanksgiving Day every second Monday of October.
Redeem your free turkeys!
Thanksgiving Day is about giving thanks and being thankful, so for this particular day, we’re giving out free turkeys! Here’s the redemption process:
- Spend $20 or more at any store in Lauderhill Mall and show us your receipt. This excludes grocery items.
- Be one of the first people to get a free turkey on us from 11 AM to 4 PM on November 19 (Save the date!)
- Minimum of one turkey per family. Hurry up and redeem your free turkeys while supplies last!
